Call for Evidence

To ensure that the process of developing the Local Industrial Strategy is as open as possible and builds upon the most up-to-date and robust evidence, the Review is launching a Call for Evidence to the research community; there will be an opportunity for other stakeholders to contribute via the broader consultation on the Local Industrial Strategy which will be launched on 15 October, 2018. If you have an interest in shaping local industrial strategy in the UK and helping us think through the implications of the work you have done that may be of relevance to Greater Manchester, we are keen to hear from you.

What are we looking for?

We are particularly keen to receive evidence that relates to the priority areas for further research set out on the overview page. In recognition of the breadth of issues identified in the National Industrial Strategy white paper, we also welcome evidence-based submissions that deal with any aspects of the foundations of productivity or one or more strands of the Grand Challenges as they apply to places like Greater Manchester.

Submissions can be sent to Evidence can be provided in any form but it would be greatly appreciated if your submission could include a summary of no more than six pages.

The call for evidence will remain open until 9am on Monday 26 November, 2018.
