Multiply Implementation
UPDATE DECEMBER 2022: PLEASE SEE THE LATEST NEWS PAGE FOR IMPORTANT INFORMATION / DEADLINE REGARDING FUTURE CORE UKSPF PEOPLE AND SKILLS AND GM MULTIPLY FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES
Multiply (external website) is a new government-funded national programme to help adults aged 19+ who do not already have a Level 2 in Maths/Numeracy (or equivalent) to improve their numeracy skills.
This funding will support residents to become more confident with numbers and progress them on in life. It will also increase the number of adults participating in and achieving their Level 2 or equivalent in Maths.
Multiply in Greater Manchester
£14m has been allocated to Greater Manchester to deliver Multiply up to March 2025.
The Investment Plan for Multiply in Greater Manchester outlines six key strands of activity (see below). These will provide different and innovative numeracy and maths training for those who would not normally consider accessing the usual adult skills offer, including the hardest to reach residents in Greater Manchester. All strands will complement, rather than duplicate or displace existing devolved Adult Education Budget activity.
More information on each of the six strands, including implementation timelines, can be found using the drop-down menus below.
