2020 Greater Manchester Independent Prosperity Review: One Year On

One year on, the Review Panel revisited the key recommendations from the 2019 commission in light of the Covid-19 Pandemic with a focus on what had changed and what is the best way forward to improve productivity and drive prosperity across the city region.

They emphasised that the Government’s Northern levelling up agenda will only be effective if it supports people employed in the sectors hardest hit by the Covid-19 crisis and helps to improve people’s health and well-being.
