Finding Support
Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) does not have a housing advice function and does not have statutory responsibility for the provision of advice and support to prevent homelessness.
Your local council has a duty under the Homelessness Reduction Act to both relieve and prevent homelessness and is the best organisation to contact in this scenario. Therefore, in the first instance you should approach your relevant council if you are experiencing, or at risk of experiencing homelessness.
