Providers and Partners
Please see below an overview of our partners and providers working with us on our Communities and Place, Local Business support and Communities and Place UKSPF interventions. This page will be updated as we announce new providers and partners, so please keep checking back as the UKSPF programme develops.
10GM
10GM is a joint venture created to support the VSCE sector in the city-region. 10GM are co-ordinating a partnership of local voluntary, community and social enterprise infrastructure organisations and specialist partners. This is to support GMCA’s capacity building and developing the infrastructure of local civil society and community groups in Greater Manchester.
Growth Company
The Growth Company is a key delivery partner for both the city-region’s UKSPF and Multiply programmes. They support a number of initiatives, including the Support to Succeed programme, which helps residents develop the skills needed to secure employment and advance in their careers. They also connect local businesses with industry-leading research and guidance to help bring innovative ideas to market.
Workers Educational Association (WEA)
WEA manages the city-region’s Community Grants Programme – a £5m pot over three years allowing VCSE groups and Housing Associations to bid for funding of up to £100,000 to invest in a flexible and free local offer, ensuring support is targeted to those who need it most - in particular residents with basic entry level qualifications. Outcomes will include supporting residents to overcome barriers that may prevent them from accessing learning opportunities as well as offering capacity building support to smaller VCSE organisations so the programme can benefit as many grass-roots groups as possible.
Sector Skills Providers
Several sector skills providers, including Acorn Training, Instep UK, and SB Skills solutions, play a crucial role in delivering tailored training and development programmes across Greater Manchester. These providers offer specialised training to equip residents with the skills needed in key sectors, ensuring they are prepared for the demands of the local job market.
