About Identified Land Supply 2024
The 2024 identified land supply for Greater Manchester is now available. There are three types of existing land supply: housing; industrial and warehousing; and offices. For each of the three types of identified land supply you can download the data in a CSV spreadsheet format, view the location of sites on the maps included below on this page, and download and use a set of GIS shapefiles.
The previous years of identified land supply datasets were published on MappingGM, and can still be viewed on the GMODIN map under Planning and development. Please find the map here: https://mappinggm.org.uk/gmodin/
Housing identified land supply
This dataset shows the land identified for future housing development. For each site, the expected number of dwellings is identified, along with an estimation of when these dwellings will be completed. Further details about the site, such as planning status and land type, are provided in the CSV spreadsheet linked below. For specific site densities, contact the relevant local authority.

Industrial/warehousing identified land supply
This dataset shows the land identified for future industrial/warehousing development. For each site, the expected number of gross floorspace (sqm) is identified, along with an estimation of when these developments will be completed. Further details about the site, such as planning status and land type, are provided in the CSV spreadsheet linked below. For specific site densities, contact the relevant local authority.

Offices identified land supply
This dataset shows the land identified for future office development.
