If you are lost, in distress, need medical attention, or don’t know how to get home there are safe places that you can go to for help.

Village Haven - LGBT Foundation (external website)

Where: The Beacon, 45 Bloom Street, M1 3LY

When: Friday and Saturday nights, 5pm to 3am

BT Telephone Help Points

Where: Throughout Manchester city centre.

When: Open 24/7.

Manchester City Police Station - Greater Manchester Police (external website)

Where: Town Hall Extension, Lloyd Street, M2 5DB

When: Open 24/7

Manchester Central Community Fire Station - Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (external website)

Where: Thompson Street, Manchester, M4 5FP

When: Open 24/7

St John's Welfare Unit

Where: Great Northern, 235 Deansgate, M3 4EN

When: Friday and Saturday nights until 4am

Metrolink Help Points - Transport for Greater Manchester (external website)

What: All trams are fitted with CCTV. There are emergency call points at all 99 Metrolink stops, and on each tram too. They allow you to speak to a member of staff if one isn’t around.
