Skills Bootcamps supported employed and unemployed people in the city region as well as helping businesses close skills gaps that they were struggling to fill.
The courses were available to all but placed a high focus on supporting underrepresented groups including:
- low paid and unemployed/not in work
- veterans
- ex-offenders
- women
- ethnic minorities
- over 50s
- those returning work after a break/maternity leave
- people living with a health condition/disability
