Katie Rigby spent year playing guitar with her grandad which gave Manchester-based alt folk singer-songwriter Katie Rigby an inimitable strength of character, with her family's traditional Irish country roots sitting side by side with Katie’s unabashed love of dreamy, effortless pop music.

She gave up her career as an NHS medical secretary to live out her passion and study a song writing degree at BIMM Manchester whilst being a full time carer for her Nana.
