Switch to Digital Week

Running from 5th - 9th October 2020, Manchester Digital and the Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA), ran Switch to Digital Week, a week-long event aimed at people interested in exploring a career in the digital and tech sector.

Coinciding with the end of the furlough scheme, the event brought together individuals and businesses from across the sector to share information and actionable advice about the industry for those considering switching careers.

Each day featured different events with speakers from some of the leading tech firms such as Co-op Digital, Code Nation, Slalom, Microsoft and Zuhlke, along with a speed mentoring event speed mentoring event at the end of the week, which gave attendees the opportunity to come face to face and ask advice from people of all levels already working within the industry.
