Public consultation: How to give your feedback

Public consultation: Have your say on Greater Manchester's plan for nature

Our public consultation on Greater Manchester's Local Nature Recovery Strategy is now open until 31 January 2025 - click here to respond online.

Respond to our public consultation

The Greater Manchester Local Nature Recovery Strategy has been developed to set out how we can all work together to tackle the biodiversity emergency and improve access to nature. GMCA are currently consulting on the draft strategy.

Everyone can play a part in shaping the Local Nature Recovery Strategy. Your voice matters, whether you are a resident, community group, local business owner or farmer. Your feedback will help us gain local knowledge and ensure that we can get the strategy right for Greater Manchester.

Tell us your views

We want to hear what you think about key components in the strategy including the vision, aims, targets, priorities and maps set out in this draft strategy. Your feedback will then be used to shape the final strategy.

You can view our draft plan for nature and give feedback online, or you can join one of our in person drop-in sessions to speak with our experts and have your say on how nature recovery should be prioritised across the city-region.
